The time is now! Repent!

God does not wait forever for man. Yes, He is tremendously long-suffering, patiently waiting for us, but not forever. There is a sunset, an end.

Jesus visited these cities in person doing great miracles of power, speaking words of deep wisdom, offering to them life abundant. But they would not repent.

And He moved on!

Jesus spoke these words outside the city! It was over, the sun had set. They missed it. Like Sodom and Gomorrah, the day came for judgment.

Have you seen God’s hand? Have you heard the gospel? Have you been offered the gift of life? Did you repent? If not, know that the sun is setting! If you hold on to that sin, if you retain the reins of your life, if you refuse to accept the wisdom of Jesus, there will be sunset followed by darkness.

This is not on your timetable, but God’s!

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. That is either a promise, or a threat. The choice is yours.
